Obituary for Anna Maria Bonacchi
Anna Maria Lucchesi – Bonacchi, age 84 of San Francisco, CA. passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
She was born to the Late Giovanni Lucchesi and Alina Mariani-Lucchesi on July 11, 1938, in San Cassiano di Controne, Bagni Di Lucca, Lucca Italy.
Anna Maria was preceded in death by her late husband Marcello Bonacchi, her sister’s Giuespina Simi, and Maria Pia Demma.
Anna Maria was a loving mother to George Bonacchi, sister to Giovanna Lucchesi – Vitale, aunt to Gloria Demma – Greifelt (Chicago), Lucas Simi (San Francisco), and Grace Vitale – Giannecchini (Chicago). Anna was a great aunt to Tyler Greifelt, Brandon Greifelt, Daniella Simi, and Briana Simi.
Anna moved from Italy in 1958, she met her late husband when she went back on holiday to Italy. She was an expert seamstress for many years and enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends – she was known to have a passion for music and dancing. Her favorite dance was the tango and waltz.
She will be deeply missed by all and remembered for her zest and joy.
