Obituary for Aurora Calica Opiana

The beloved Aurora left to be with the Lord and to reunite with her late husband, Fidel R. Opiana. Aurora was born in Manila, Philippines to the late Marie Corpuz Calica and the late Juan S Calica. She was the third of five children. She had two older brothers – the late Rufino & Rese and two younger brothers - Dominador & the late Benjamin. She left her home country and moved to San Francisco, California in 1959. In 1962 she met Fidel R Opiana. The two became a dynamic duo that brought laughter to all who knew them. They were married in 1965. After 53 years of marriage, Fidel left to be with the Lord on July 19, 2018. A duo broken left Aurora lost. The last days of her life she expressed how much she misses her husband. Her family takes solace in the fact that she is together again with her husband.
