Obituary for Elsie Barbara Palmer

Born Feb. 9, 1927 in San Francisco, CA, passed away peacefully at the Masonic Homes of California, Union City, CA, following a lengthy illness.

She first met her future husband "Jack" Prior to her graduation from Balboa High School spring Class of 1945. A devoted couple of the greatest generation, they were married for 77 years. She leaves her husband Claude "Jack", son Paul, daughter Carol and daugther Cynthia Hawken and grandson Benjamin and Jeremy.

As a loving wife and mother she took pride in being a homemaker and raising her children the old fashion way. A proud native daughter of San Francisco, she always enjoyed sharing its history and her personal experiences of the past with family members, friends and neighbors.
Elsie had a passion for animals and always had cats as pets. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, collectables, popular music and her collection of Teddy Bears.

The Palmer family wishes to express their appreciation to the Kaiser Permanente and Hospice personnel for their kind care.

At her request private service were held.
