Obituary for Emanuel "Mike" Nicholas Panigiris

Passed away peacefully Saturday April 23, 2022. He was a long-time resident of San Bruno. Mike was a classic car and Harley Davison enthusiast. He enjoyed the beauty of the 1960's classics most of all and of course, driving fast. Cars were a large part of his entire life until the end.

Mike was a passionate man with a strong will and fighting spirit. He had a heart of gold even though he was head strong his fighting spirit is one of the things he was known best for and the fact that he would do anything for the ones he loved. He never stopped fighting not even until the end.

The sparkle in his eyes and the smile on his face will live in our hearts forever, until we meet again. Family first and forever!

He survived by his two daughters Nicole Panigiris-Zagar and Debra Lunardini grandson Alexi Zagar, son-in-law Adrian Zagar, sister Cynthia Lewin, his Ex Wife Bonnie Hawkins (still best of friends).

He was preceded by death by his two brothers George and Sonny Panigiris.

As many of you know Mike went to Capuchino high school before serving in the US Army with the first battalion 67th artillery in Germany.

Upon returning to the states his passion and collection of cars began.

So the next time you hear a roar of a V8 engine, the throttle of a Harley or a chirp of a gear remember the little red Corvette and Mike Panigiris must be near. May his presence be in our hearts eternally.
