Obituary for Frank R. Gilson
Frank was born to Louis and Florence Gilson in San Francisco in 1936. He passed away peacefully at home on January 4th, 2024, at the age of 87. He was one of five children he is survived by Henry (Lana), and preceded in death by Josie (Don), Louis (Sarah), Robert (Doreen), William (Roberta).
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Christine; he was a beloved father to Barbara, Francesca (Paul) & Raymond (deceased). He was a devoted grandfather to Kyle (Tanya), Alyssa, Ashleigh, John, Bryce, Louis and Jaxson, and a great-grandfather to Kaleb, Maya, Dallas and Elliott. He was a loving brother-in law to Kenneth (Cheryle), Patricia and James. Frank is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18th at 11 am at Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino Real, So San Francisco. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to a children’s charity
