Obituary for Gerald A. Barlow

Gerald A. Barlow was born in Grand Coteau, La on November 2, 1949, to Joseph and Mildred Barlow.

He graduated from St. Peter Claver and shortly after enlisted in the Air Force. After His honorable discharge he started his life with his wife Mary of over 52 years, and their two children Kirsha and Trenell Lynn in California working two jobs day and night to provide a great home for his family.

Gerald was known for his no-nonsense attitude, fun-loving joking remarks, and his unbelievable skills behind his BBQ smoking pit. He took pride in himself watching people enjoy his famous fall-of-the-bone baby back ribs. In his spare time, he loved to go fishing, watch scary movies, and spending time at Bay Meadows.

Viewing will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 11:30AM - 12:30PM at Garden Chapel. A brief reflection of memories will begin at 12:30. Military Funeral Honors will be rendered at 1:00PM to Honor Mr. Barlow's service in the Air Force. Rendition of Prayers will immediately follow, lead by Pastor John Withers.
