Obituary for Gloria A. Lopez (Padilla)
Gloria A (Padilla) Lopez, 67, died on May 4, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 31, 1956, in Sayula, Mexico, the beloved daughter of the late Francisco Padilla Prado and late Carmen Rodriguez Padilla.
Gloria married the love of her life, Carlos Lopez, in 1981 and moved to San Francisco where together they raised three wonderful young men; Daniel, Victor and Carlos. They celebrated 41 joyful years of marriage in July. Raising her boys and supporting all her family were always the priority for Gloria. Although she recently struggled with illness, her positive spirit remained an inspiration for everyone around her.
In addition to her parents, Gloria was predeceased by her brothers Francisco Padilla and Jose Manuel Padilla and her sister-in-law Rosario Lopez. She is survived by her loving family: devoted husband, Carlos; sons Daniel Lopez, Victor Lopez (Jessica Macias), Carlos Lopez (Megan Smith Lopez), and Scott Venegoni (Samantha Venegoni); sisters Maria de Jesus Padilla, Marina Padilla, Francisca (Padilla) Hernandez, Carlota Padilla, Ernestina Padilla, and Carmen Padilla, and many loving nieces and nephews in both San Francisco and Mexico.
On Wednesday, May 10th at services will be held at the Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino Real, South San Francisco, CA with visitation beginning at 2pm and a service of remembrance beginning at 3pm.
