Obituary for Gloria E Smith

Gloria Elsie Smith known to most as” HONEY” left this world peacefully in South San Francisco on April 30,2020 to join the love of her life Merlin. She was born in Manila, Philippine islands on August 27, 1922 while her father was in the U.S. Transportation Service.

Later she moved from the Philippines to Shanghai, China. On August 7, 1926 she returned with her parents to San Francisco. She attended Washington High School where she met Merlin. She later Married Merlin on March 20, 1942 In San Francisco. They lived in San Francisco where they had their three sons, until, they moved after purchasing a home in South San Francisco.

The adored daughter of the late Francis (Frank) James Trevillian & Mae Trevillian (Mary Agnes Fredrickson), sister of the late Russell Francis Trevillian, sister in law of the late Isabel Trevillian, Lois De Lu (Smith), Joseph Pacific De Lu. She graduated from Washington High School in San Francisco on June 10, 1940

A loving presence in their lives, Honey is survived by her sons, Mark W. Smith, Craig W. Smith, Daughter in laws, Renee Smith (Bernier), Alicia Smith (Sanchez), Patricia Smith (Brosnan),
Melvi Smith (Landovzo), grandchildren Curt Smith, Colleen Millhausen (Smith), Michelle Hembry (Smith), James Smith, Marie Bird(Smith), Michael Smith, their spouses/significant others, Edward Millhausen, Mark Hembry, Tracy Summers, James Bird, Alexis Smith (Hontalas), great-grandchildren Ashley Moreno (Hembry), Jonathan Hembry, Trinity Smith, Katie Millhausen, Giselle Raj, Danika Smith, McKenzie Smith, their spouses/significant others, Mario Moreno, Jessica Guerrero great-great Grandchildren Mason Moreno, Noah Hembry and numerous other relatives and friends.

Honey is predeceased by her husband, Merlin W. Smith, son Charles W. Smith and Grandson Cary Smith.

A private family burial will be held at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno at a later date.
