Janet Hudson Deering August 15, 1935 - August 7, 2019 Born in Belmont, CA and later living with her divorced mother, Thelma Ward, in San Francisco; she completed an AA degree in Art at San Francisco City College. That’s where she met her future husband, Frank Deering, an engineering student. While becoming a mother of three, and also raising her only grandchild thru school for 10 years, she took more years of art classes a Skyline College. She later became the instructor’s assistant in Ceramics. She also worked for 35 years at all the elections in San Bruno local polling places from her own garage, to two neighborhood schools. She was a wilderness back packer and later State Park Family Camper. The love of my life for 63 years, but most important, the most “honest” person in the world.   Friends may visit after 9:30am where a cortege will start for Skylawn Memorial Park.
