Obituary for Javier Marin

Javier Marin February 16, 1938 – August 20, 2019 Resident of South San Francisco, California. Died peacefully, Tuesday, August, 20, 2019, at home in So. S. F. Born February 16, 1938 in San Mateo, California. Javier graduated from So. S.F. High School, worked at Reihhold Co. until the company closed, went to work for Hertz rental car company for 30 years until he took his early retirement in 2001. After his retirement he enjoyed helping the community; he became part of the AARP chapter 3152 at Magnolia Senior Center, So. S.F., a member of the Oddfellows Order, part of the Hall association of the Oddfellows, and a Noble Grand of Apollo Lodge #123, S.F., in 2017, served as an officer to the Golden West Lodge 322 in S.F. He was also on the advisory committee to the Magnolia Senior Center program in So. S.F. He loved to dance, travel and help with his kind and friendly ways to his family, friends and to anyone that asked for his help. He is survived by his wife, Consuelo D. L. Marin, his daughter, Angie (John) Cain, his grandchildren Kathryn N.(Julio) Jimenez, John Joseph (Zelide) Cain, great-grandchildren Zeliya, Zoey and Zavannah Cain, and several godchildren, nieces, nephews relatives and friends living in the bay area.
