Maria C Arata also known as Connie passed away on March 13, 2024 at the age of 92 at her home in South San Francisco, California where she lived for 56 years. She was born August 13, 1931 in San Francisco, California to Salvador & Concepcion Aguirre.

She is survived by her children: Georgette A Calasa(Earl) of Maui, Hawaii & Joseph Arata. Along with 3 grandchildren: Joseph Arata Jr. (Leah), Joshua Arata & Max Arata. Connie had 2 great granddaughters: Louanna & Addie from Joe Jr & Leah. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Chavez & a few cousins & many nieces and nephews. Also Toni Mesa, her maid of honor & dear friend of 80+ years.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, George Arata & son, George Arata Jr., her parents: Salvador & Concepcion Aguirre & loving “in laws”: John & Maria Lena Arata
