Orfilia Navarrete age 94 entered into God’s kingdom peacefully on June 1, 2023 in El Dorado Hills, CA. surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on May 16, 1929 a daughter of the late Juan Esteban & Maria Zuniga. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Alberto Navarrete as well as several brothers and sister.
Orfilia, the most loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend is survived by her daughters, Myra De La Cerda and Irma Plyer; son-in-law Alfred De La Cerda; grandchildren, Carlos & Dina De La Cerda, Rodolfo Silva, and Rebecca Plyer. She is also survived by many other family members; numerous friends; and her church family at Airport Church of Christ.
Funeral service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Garden Chapel Funeral Home 885 El Camino Real South San Francisco. Interment will follow at Olivet Memorial Park in Colma. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
