Obituary for Philberta Kaili

Philberta Kaili went home to be with the Lord late Tuesday evening March 9th, 2021, she will be missed dearly by all those that she met and was surrounded by.
Born April 7, 1950 in Hilo, Hawaii to Philip & Susie Kaili. Berta had 9 siblings, she is survived by her brother Timothy and Sister Noey.
Berta in her later years moved in with her Son and Daughter in Law - Philip and Audrey Kaili where she enjoyed being with her family everyday. She is survived by her Son Philip and his wife Audrey, her Grandchildren Diandra, Marisza, Dominic & Kaeahna and her Great Grandchildren Benjamin & Maya. Her granddaughter Kaleena & her two Boys Alex and Manni in Oregon. Her Son David and his children and their children in Oregon. Many Nieces, nephews and cousins.

Berta loved to hang out and talk story. She had the most beautiful laugh. I believe her most famous thing to say was " whateva " in a tone only she could do.
Her highlight to her journey was taking care of her little man, her great grandson Benjamin Philip in Chico, Ca the first year of his life. In 2017 she was diagnosed with Alzheimers and so began her jouney that none of us wanted to believe but we knew we had to face. In 2019 her little man was diagnosed with Autism , he was her highlight to life , she smiled and lit up when she was in his presence. She loved hawaiian music, worship music,Whitney Houston, and Anne Murray. She would hum along, so when you hear the music which gave her therapy in her last days, please think of her with beautiful thoughts.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you consider a small donation if you'd like to the Austism Society of the San Francisco Bay Area ( sfautismsociety.org ) or the Alzheimers Association ( alz.org ) Or you may send a donation to our church family ( SF No Limits Church Pastor Junior & Sis Regina Haro ) donate to zelle 415-505-4036. Berta was a women of faith and loved God and the bible.
